Monroe Ambulance volunteers demonstrate procedures for First Aid and CPR classes

CENTRAL VALLEY — On Friday, April 26, Wayne Chan and Rich Lenahan, both volunteers for the Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps, came to Monroe-Woodbury High School to talk to CPR classes about volunteering and First Aid.Students were able to go out to the ambulance in the parking lot where they saw the equipment that is carried on a rig.They also got to experience what it was like to do CPR on a mannikin in the back of a moving rig.The students were from the classes of Laura Pietropaolo, Christopher Vero and Linda Trapani.
