CENTRAL VALLEY — On Sunday, Jan. 27, young artists from Monroe-Woodbury High School will perform a wide variety of music for solo instrument, ensemble and voice at Central Valley United Methodist Church.

Among the composers featured will be Mozart, Bruch, Faure, Eccles and Holst. There also will be music by contemporary composers as well as music in jazz style.

String performers are Melissa Neyer, Gina Gerlach and Samuel Rubin; winds and brass are Alex Sanso, Abbey McMahon, Paul Yoon, Aideen Dempsey and Crystal Young; and sopranos are Daisy Epple, Meredith O’Brien, and Lilliana Kulak.

The concert takes places at 3 p.m. at Central Valley United Methodist Church,, located at 12 Smith Clove Road.

It is open to the public free of charge with a suggested donation at the door. The church is handicapped accessible.
