HIGHLAND MILLS — Woodbury Girl Scouts will host an evening of rockin’ and rollin’ fun on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at a winter roller skate party at the Castle Fun Center, located on Route 17M in Chester.

The cost is $10 per person and includes a patch for each scout, a slice of pizza, beverage and two hours of skating. Bring your own skates or blades or rent them for $3.50 to $4.50.

Scouts, family, friends and those interested in joining scouts are invited.

Meanwhile, Woodbury Girl Scouts will host “ Thinking Day” on Saturday, March 2, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Monroe-Woodbury High School.

This an annual event where each troop makes a poster display about a country and food to sample. Small pins are swapped with other troops. There is music, flag ceremony and friendship circle.

Again, those thinking of joining Girl Scouts are welcome.
