Raising the bar higher

I wanted to take a moment to share with you the success of Kenfest for MS 2017 at Palaia Winey and to thank Christine Urio and The Photo News for helping spread the word of our event.
With your help, not only did we "shatter" our goal of $5,000, the total as of today is $7,161. And people are still donating.
So many people we talked to at Kenfest for MS mentioned that they had read about it in The Photo News.
May I also take a moment to thank those who gave their time, talents and support to help make the day a great day of music, community and fun: All of the musicians and bands, T.W.D., Whitney Road, Big Time Tomato, The Palaia All Stars, Lot 14, Lucky Town, Green Clover and 3GL.
A huge thanks to Joe, Jan and Joey Palaggi from Palaia Winery of Highland Mills for providing the venue and staff and also for their generous donations to our tricky tray.
To all of our sponsors throughout the community who donated monetarily and items for the tricky tray, a huge thank you.
A very special thanks to my wife, Linda Nicastro, and her company, Beyond Signs and Graphics, Inc. for it's sponsorship, coordinating all aspects of the event as well as all of the signage.
Our family, Lindsey and Ryan Barden, Theresa and Michelle Nicastro for all of their hard work.
Thanks to all who volunteered, spread the word and attended the event.
Special thanks go out to Jayne O'Connor of Happy Hounds Canine Service who organized the tricky tray and so many others ... the musicians who gave their time to play, and to all from our local community who donated and supported Kenfest for MS, again thank you.
With the success of this year's Kenfest for MS, plans have already begun to have the event at the winery next year. With the continued support of the community, we hope to raise the bar higher.
