    Rosemary A. Candito of Highland Mills passed away on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, at home. She was 73.
    The daughter of Peter McAllister and Cecelia Forst McAllister, she was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, on Nov. 27, 1942.
    Rosemary was a retired bus monitor for Monroe-Woodbury School District.
    She was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Highland Mills and was a CCD teacher.
    Survivors include her husband John Candito at home; her daughters Kathleen Taylor and her husband Alvin of Mooringsport, La., and Jennifer Doughty and her husband Scott of Highland Mills; her brothers Peter McAllister of Brookfield Center, Conn.., and Raymond McAllister of Holtsville; three grandchildren: Alyssa, Lake and Max; and several nieces and nephews.
    A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, Aug. 26, at St. Patrick’s Church, 448 Route 32, Highland Mills.
    Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
    Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
